Lisbon Montessori pre-school is based on the educational philosophy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori and it strives to implement the methods created by this all-time-remarkable educator.
In our school, children are respected, independent and love learning for the innate satisfaction it provides. Our children are industrious, self-reliant and go about their work with calm enjoyment. We treat every child as an individual and work closely with parents to create an environment in which the Child will flourish.
Our language of instruction is English, providing children with a model of cultural integration during their formative years. We offer a Toddler Community (18-36 months) and two Children’s Houses (3-6 years). Our classes are mixed-age promoting a society by cohesion and allowing children to learn and progress at their own pace.
