ENROLMENT and fees
Lisbon Montessori School will host children of all nationalities who are between 2½ and 12 years of age. Most common ages at point of enrollment are between 2 ½ – 9 years.
Depending on availability (when there is a vacancy) we will enrol children throughout the year.
Parents are encouraged to visit many schools before choosing the right school for their child.
To start the enrollment process to Lisbon Montessori School we will organize a tour on a day of your choice. The tour takes about one hour, and for the first visit we invite both parents to come alone, without their child.

Our school year has 11 months, from September to July.
Our tuitions have been designed to ensure our ability to pay our bills. However, we also understand that our tuitions may be a challenge for some families. If you are one of them and Montessori education is important to you, please check our tuition reduction scheme at the bottom of this page.

• Breakfast and Morning snack are included in the fees listed above for all children. We ask full-day children to bring packed lunch (hot or cold). Hot lunches will be re-heated in the school kitchen.
• Families with more than one child enrolled in the same school year will be exempted from enrolment fee for second or subsequent children.
• Families with more than one child enrolled in the same school year will receive 10% discount on tuition fee of the second and subsequent children.
• In cases of absence from school due to illness or any other reasons no payments will be returned.
• All children must attend through mid-June. A child may go on holiday for the rest of the Summer, however, the fees will not be reduced.
• Fees are non-refundable.
• Parents may choose to pay their fees either quarterly (see the schedule above) or in one advance payment, in which case we will apply 5 % reduction to the annual fees amount.
| • Single parents with monthly income under 1500 Eur are entitled to a discount of 50% of tuition fees. |
| • Single parents with monthly income under 2000 Eur are entitled to a discount of 40% of tuition fees. |
| • Families with 2 parents with monthly income under 2500 Eur are entitled to a discount of 40% of tuition fees. |
NOTES:
- To apply for our Tuition Reduction program, parents will be asked to fill out a form where all sources of income of the family must be listed. The form must be submitted to the school office along with a copy of your last IRS return sheet.
- Discounts are applied to tuition fees only.
- Discounts are not applicable to enrollment fee, facilities fee or deposit.
